BayQuest is seeking funding to acquire and equip a Safe Boat Defender-Class patrol vessel for its on-going bay and near coastal monitoring. It would serve as the main platform for conducting our on-the-water work.

This stable and highly maneuverable vessel can safely accommodate research/observation professionals, crew and equipment while navigating the choppy waters of San Francisco Bay and Northern California coast.

BayQuest also collaborates with other organizations for use of their vessels to perform ongoing research, education and data collections efforts. We welcome discussions with vessel owners and organizations who are interested in meaningful collaboration.
